Aviles formed the HVF with her partner, Evelyn Hale, to serve as a bi-partisan initiative to encourage political activity within the Hispanic community. Active in their outreach work, Aviles and Hale are continuously conducting focus groups to learn more about the Hispanic group and their needs.
